Take I-87 (NY State Thruway) north to Exit 23 (I-787 toward Downtown Albany). Take I-787 north 9 miles to Exit 9E (Troy/Bennington). Follow NY Route 7 east for about 25 miles through Troy toward Vermont. A few miles past Route 22, bear left onto Route 279 (the Bennington Bypass). Continue 4.2 miles (crossing into Vermont) to the Route 67A/Route 7A exit (Bennington/North Bennington). At end of exit ramp, turn left onto Route 67A. Follow 67A for about 0.7 mile to a flashing yellow light at Matteson Road. Immediately after Matteson Road, turn right at the Bennington College entrance and follow the drive up the hill. Stay left to the Main Campus and the security booth. Visitor parking is located across from the security booth on your right.
From Points East (Boston) and South (Connecticut) via Mass Pike (I-90):
Take I-90 (Mass Pike) west to Exit 2 (Lee, MA). After the tollbooth, turn right onto Route 20 west toward Pittsfield. US Route 7 north joins Route 20. Stay on US Route 7 north through Pittsfield, Williamstown, and into Vermont. Pass through downtown Bennington on US Route 7 north. After several stoplights, turn left onto Route 7A (Northside Drive). In less than a mile bear left onto Route 67A. Continue 1.1 mile more to a flashing yellow light at Matteson Road. Immediately after Matteson Road, turn right at the Bennington College entrance and follow the drive up the hill. Stay left to the Main Campus and the security booth. Visitor parking is located across from the security booth on your right.
From Points East (Brattleboro, VT):
From Brattleboro take Route 9 west for about 39 miles to downtown Bennington. Turn right onto US Route 7 north. After several stoplights, turn left onto Route 7A (Northside Drive). In less than a mile bear left onto Route 67A. Continue 1.1 mile more to a flashing yellow light at Matteson Road. Immediately after Matteson Road, turn right at the Bennington College entrance and follow the drive up the hill. Stay left to the Main Campus and the security booth. Visitor parking is located across from the security booth on your right.
From Points North (Burlington, Middlebury):
Take US Route 7 south. As you approach Bennington take Exit 1 (North Bennington/Troy). Continue 0.7 mile to the Route 67A exit (Bennington/North Bennington). At end of exit ramp, turn left onto Route 67A. Follow 67A for about 0.5 mile to a flashing yellow light at Matteson Road. Immediately after Matteson Road, turn right at the Bennington College entrance and follow the drive up the hill. Stay left to the Main Campus and the security booth. Visitor parking is located across from the security booth on your right.
From Points West (Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo) via NY State Thruway (I-90):
Take I-90 (NY State Thruway) east toward Albany. Stay left at Exit 24 (Albany/Montreal) taking I-90 east toward I-87 north. After the tollbooth take I-87 north 6.4 miles to Exit 7 (toward Troy). Follow NY Route 7 east for about 29 miles through Troy toward Vermont. A few miles past Route 22, bear left onto Route 279 (the Bennington Bypass). Continue 4.2 miles (crossing into Vermont) to the Route 67A/Route 7A exit (Bennington/North Bennington). At end of exit ramp, turn left onto Route 67A.
